Meeting for the Christian Youth of Syria

15-16-17 July 2004‏

Because of their concern for the Catholic Youth of Syria, following the example of his Holiness John Paul II to foster the enthusiasm of young people for apostolic mission in the third millennium, the Catholic bishops of Syria, in consultation, agreed to invite young Syrian Catholics aged from 17 to 32 years to meet together with their pastors and leaders in Aleppo. This will be the first ecclesial meeting of its kind in Syria.
